Dee Wright, Mayor pro Tem practices to throw out the first pitch at a Bay Area Toros baseball game  The City of Seabrook is sponsoring the Championship Tournament for the Continental Baseball League August 16-19 - Robinson Stadium - Texas City, TX.

On Saturday, Sept. 8 and Sunday, Sept. 9 thousands of Houston-area residents will participate in the Fall 2007 MS Walks in Katy, Kemah, The Woodlands and downtown Houston to raise funds in the fight against multiple sclerosis (MS).

On September 14, 15, & 16, 2007, Seabrook will be the home of the Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival. This year’s scheduled celebrity guest to appear is film, television and stage actor, Jasmine Guy, best known for her memorable role in the hit television series, A Different World.

The international show featured classic automobiles and vintage wood boats at the Lakewood Yacht Club, 2425 NASA Parkway, Seabrook. Gracing the grounds was a rare collection of more than 300 classic automobiles and vintage wooden boats, valued at more than $50 million dollars. The cars and boats come from local area collectors as well as major collections and museums throughout the country.
