Coastal Photo Workshops with Ruth Burke
Seaside Gallery is taking reservations for the 2009 Coastal Photo and Digital Printing Workshop with Ruth Burke in Seabrook, Texas. The workshop is scheduled for March 7 & 8, 2009. This year we are offering 1 day and 2 day sessions. Both days will combine location photography with classroom instruction. The first day, Saturday will include classroom instruction on the camera, how it works and what the different settings mean and how they affect you final image along with an introduction to Photoshop. The second day, Sunday will include classroom instruction that will focus on the final out-put of your photographic image, being the fine art print. We will discuss using Photoshop to prepare the image for printing and different types of printers, ink and papers.

Sailboat Racing April until October
Every Wednesday evening from April until October, professional and amateur sailors get together for a friendly sailboat race on the waters of Clear Lake. The races start promptly at 6:15 PM and finish before sunset. Come and enjoy an evening of fun and relaxation.

Every Wednesday evening from April until October, professional and amateur sailors get together for a friendly sailboat race on the waters of Clear Lake. These races were created by the Clear Lake Racing Association with the public in mind, and the course has been set where the race can be enjoyed by spectators from some of the restaurants around the lake. The starting line is in front of Pier du Lac and the Seabrook Beach Club, and everyone is invited to come and watch. The races start promptly at 6:15 PM and finish before sunset. Come and enjoy an evening of fun and relaxation.
